Dogfest 2009
The Cape Fear Golden Retriever Rescue, Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit, volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of Golden Retrievers. We take in abandoned, abused and neglected Goldens from multiple counties, proceed with veterinary care, and nurse them back to health. We then find loving homes for them regardless of how long it takes. To help alleviate the financial stress of these undertakings we are hosting the Third Annual DogFest. Proceeds from this event benefit the non-profit groups of Cape Fear Golden Retriever Rescue and Bi-Ped Foundation, an organization established to raise money to support spinal cord injury research and recovery.
